Established in 1884, St. Mary's Primary has grown to be an exciting and vibrant learning community.
St. Mary’s Primary caters educationally for the children of the Parish of Casino and the wider community.

The St Mary's Winter Carnival will be held on Saturday 4 July 2009 from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
We are again hoping that this will be an opportunity for the whole school community to come together and enjoy the activities and stalls on the day.
We are seeking donations of goods or services to be used as prizes for stalls or raffles. As it has worked so well in previous years we are asking that students and families from the different stages bring along donations for some of the stalls.
Kindergarten: Tombola Stall: Each child is asked to donate a bottle filled
with something fun for the children or adults to win (eg: small
toys, hairclips, lollies, craft), or alternatively empty bottles or
filler items.
Stage 1: Plant Stall: Plants, ornaments, garden supplies.
Stage 2: Craft Stall: Homemade crafts, sewing, cards, jewellery.
Stage 3: Cake Stall: Cakes, slices, pickles, jams. (Please list
ingredients used).
Donations can be left at the school office or plants can be left with Mrs Estreich, 1/2KE, or Tombola donations can be left with the Kinder teachers.
The committee would like to extend their thanks for your continued support and always welcome and appreciate any help or time you may be able to give on the day of the Carnival.

125 Years of Catholic Education
Celebtrating 125 Years of Catholic Education in the Casino and Mallanganee Parishes.
Celebrations include a dinner dance - Saturday August 22nd and a Parish Mass followed by a Pot Luck Picinic Lunch on Sunday August 23rd.

Mobile Phone Policy
No child is allowed to carry a mobile phone around the school.
If there is a need for your child to regularly bring a phone to school, then a note is required from the parent stating reasons and must be directly concerned with before or after school activities. If this applies, then the mobile phone must be handed to their classroom teacher in the morning and collected at the end of the day.
If this procedure is not followed, the mobile phone will be taken from the child and parents advised to come to the school and collect the phone.

Beef Week Celebrations
What a tremendous day we had during Beef Week at St. Mary's Primary School. Parents, grand-parents and friends of the school all came together to celebrate "Carnivale". See all the photos from the day here.
